News and sighting reports, October 2011:

Some of the UFO observations and ufology news in October 2011 are listed on this page. Please note that these are not studies, but second hand observation reports, although mostly obtained from reliable and well known sources.

10.21.2011Three luminous balls in Pinon, the Aisne, France.

Three luminous balls in Pinon, the Aisne, France.

The "Le Post" website indicates by quoting "L'Union" newpspaper that in Pinon, the Aisne, in France, a man who "is interested in paranormal phenomena since his adolescence" and who "noticed that on the internet, one often finds 'faked images' saw on October 21 about midnight a plane, then, in alignment, horizontally, three luminous balls."

The man said that the "sky was clear", that the balls were not plane, that they "did not flicker" and shone more than stars. He could observe them for three minutes approximately, before losing them from sight. They moved without noise.

The next day, he found on the Internet a story of "fire balls", but it did not match what he had seen. He then reported his sighting to the newspaper L'Union so that it there were other witnesses, they would respond. He is ready "to make file a report" to " "specialists in the observations of UFOs."

He said: "I do not say that I saw aliens. I just say that it was odd and that I ask meyself questions."

The website comments on that "As usual, one awaits explanations. If they do not come, one will not be able to prevent oneself from dreaming!"

With so little information, nothing certain can be said, however, at the risk of shock the dreamers, and in the total lack of the least strangeness in the sighting, this all terribly suggets some quite ordinary Chinese lanterns to me, the major cause for sitghing reports for the last years.
