FEBRUARY 6, 1997, BIG SPRINGS, TEXAS, USA, MR. FELDMAN:

Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

Puertorican ufologist George Martin told that on February 6, 1997, Doctor Martin Feldman was driving by night along Interstate 78 to his house at Big Springs, Texas, when his headlights fell on a very tall shape besides the road.

He felt scared even before seeing the being's face because he could already see that the shape was very strange and enormous.

As he passed the being, he noted that it was not someone in fancy dress or disguize, but a humanoid shape, with head, chest, arms, legs etc., of "reptilian" aspect. The body was covered with scales, the eyes were shining and protuberant like frog's eyes, it had a very wide mouth with no lips.

Feldman fled in terror at top speed.

He came back the next day accompanied by the county Comissionner of Police, but they only found a few very vague footprints.

The Commissionner and his assistant both believed the story because they already had previous reports of the sane type of creature in the district.

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Big Springs, Texas, on February 6, 1978, at night, M. Feldman was driving alone on interstate 78 when suddenly the headlights of the car illuminated a tall bizarre creature standing on the side of the road. The figure had a definite reptilian appearance with its body covered with scales. It had large bright bulging eyes and a wide lipless mouth. Terrified he drove away from the area. Strange tracks were found at the scene. Others saw the same or similar creature during the next several days.

Albert Rosales indicates that the source is Jorge Martin, Evidencia Ovni #17.

Feldman was driving alone on interstate 78 when suddenly the headlights of the car illuminated a tall bizarre creature standing on the side of the road. The figure had a definite reptilian appearance with its body covered with scales. It had large bright bulging eyes and a wide lipless mouth. Terrified he drove away from the area. Points to consider:

[ar1] obviously mistook the road number for the year of sighting and [ud1] copied the whole including this mistake.

It should also be noted that the ufologist is not Texan but Puertorican; one may wonder where he got the story; one may also be intrigued by the high number of reports of "reptilians" he collected, this is not so with other ufologists.
