DECEMBER 6, 1978, AMUR REGION, SIBERIA, RUSSIA:

Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

About 2007, Albert Rosales indicated in his web catalogue that one Anton 'Cade' Belousev wrote in his "Soviet X Files List" that in the region of river Amur, Siberia, Russia, on December 6, 1978, at an unknown time, in the isolated taiga, between the rivers Urkan and Tyndoy, a UFO shaped like a metallic mushroom was found, apparently crashed.

Reportedly, its diameter was about 5.5 meters to 6 meters and about 3 meters in height, it weighed 720 kilograms.

It was allegedly carried to Novosibirsk, where it was hidden in the Akademgorodok region.

Inside, the body of a "short dwarf-like humanoid" was found, it was delivered fo an autopsy to the scientific research institute in Novosibirsk.

When first discovered, the humanoid still had displayed vital functions, it stayed in a coma for two weeks in a special altitude chamber, then died.

A segmented aperture was allegedly found on the side of the disc where "apparently" other crewmembers had catapulted out in an escape pod.

Points to consider:

One of the numerous similar vague short stories from the former USSR, with no shred of evidence, checking or investigation information.

Sensationalist "UFO" magazines in Russia, of zero credibility, used to print such stories one after another.

Akademgorodok is a scientific city and a district of the town of Novossibirsk, in Siberia, Russia. It is at approximately 30 kilometers in the south-east of the center of Novossibirsk.
