Short and late ufology sources indicate that on October 7, 1978, at 09:45 p.m. or 10:00 p.m., in Sauche Huacho, state of Tucuman, Argentina, Juan Carlos Torres, José A. Bustos, with two other people were in their court barbecuing when they suddenly or successively noticed two small figures standing in the shade.
One of the witnesses, thinking that the small men were neighbors, reportedly approached them to suddenly see them disappearing and reappearing at another place. They reportedly disappeared and reappeared once again at an unspecified distance.
In one of the versions, the two beings approached the barbecue.
The frightened witnesses fled into the house, looked outside, and then saw both small humanoids being "absorbed" into a red circular object which rose up from a nearby field and disappear over the nearby mountain.
A version says that scorched brush was found at the site.
A ufologist commented on that it was a "probable" illusion due to the acoholism of the witnesses.

Un des témoins, pensant que les personnages étaient des voisins les a approchés pour les voir soudainement disparaître et apparaître à un autre endroit tout près, les personnages disparaissent alors encore et apparaissant à une certaine distance au loin. Les témoins effrayés ont couru à l'intérieur de la maison, et regardé dehors pour voir un objet circulaire rouge monter vers le haut d'un champ voisin. De la broussaile roussie a été trouvée à l'emplacement.
