1965, SAINT-LOUIS, MISSOURI, USA, SOMEONE:

Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

Someone anonymous wrote to a UFO website about 2000 and told he remembers that when he was 6 years old, in St Louis, Missouri, USA, in 1965, he woke up in his bedroom sometimes after midnight, and remembers looking out of the window to see is a small figure, with very thin legs and arms, a large head and large eyes, floating in a fine mist.

Without ever really seeing the being's lips move, he heard, "don't be afraid Indian". He found this strange because at age 6, he had no idea he was an American Indian. He remembers it felt like the air was sucked from his bedroom, that he panicked and runs to his parents' room, where he found his mother and father sound asleep.

We are told with no more details that he was to have further dream-like episodes and experienced severe headaches.

[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in St Louis, Missouri, in 1965, at night, the 6-year old witness remembers waking up in his bedroom sometimes after midnight. There is a window in the bedroom and even though he doesn't want to he opens the drapes. Outside the window floating in a fine mist is a small figure, with very thin legs and arms, with a large head and eyes. Without ever really seeing its mouth move the witness heard, "don't be afraid Indian". The thing he found strange about this was that at age 6, he had no idea he was an American Indian. As this all transpires it feels as if the air is sucked from his bedroom, he panics and runs to his parent's room. There he finds his mother and father sound asleep. The witness was to have further dream-like episodes and experienced severe headaches.

Points to consider:

The source www.etcontact.net/newsite does not exist anymore as of 2008. This website used to publish alleged alien encounters testimonies sent by the readers.

A 6-year-old witness cannot be considered a witness at all. An experience dating back to that age cannot be a reliable experience.

It is rather obvious that the most likely explanation is that the very young child, who was sleeping when the experience begun, and was still in bed when it happened, made vivid nightmares or had a series of hypnagogic experiences, that impressed him and when adult, he suspected to be a real alien encounters from reading the sensationalistic literature and websites on the topic.

I provide a few references among dozens about the topic of hypnagogic hallucination and sleep paralysis:
