1965 OR 1966, HOBART, TASMANIA, AUSTRALIA, KITTY:

Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

Australian ufologist Keith Basterfield reported in 1977 that an abduction or possible abduction occurred in 1965 or 1966 in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia, to a married woman, Kitty, who was previously a psychiatric nurse.

It is said that she has "fragments of memories" of experiences from as young as 4-5 years of age, involving "figures in black from another star" who apparently revealed to her that they were here for a purpose, indicated to be "a sense of escape from another planet, a sense of destruction."

Kitty also "had two near-death experiences, and believes she is clairvoyant."

[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia, in 1965, at an unknown time, the witness recalled being visited by humanoid figures dressed in black that supposedly came from a distant star. They revealed that they were in earth for a purpose since they had to escape their planet due to a cataclysm. No other information.

Albert Rosales indicates as source Keith Basterfield.

Points to consider:

This insufficiently documented case presents all the features of whimsical interpretations of vague childhood memories by a fantasy prone personality making many claims, none of which seeming to have been checked into.

Whereas it is sometimes affirmed that "alien abductions" come primarily from people said to be "ordinary", who would not have any uncommon characteristic, who would be just as "skeptical" as everyone initially, this case does not seem to fit in this pattern.

It can be noted that what was in [kb1] a possible abduction becomes in [kb2] an abduction, and in [ar1], from the sparse information, while ensuring that there is not other information, information is actually removed:
