Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

"Near Death Experiences" researcher Kenneth Ring reported in a book that in Germany, at an exact location not given, on an unspecified date of the summer of 1959, in the afternoon, a 9-year-old girl had strayed from a picnic into some nearby woods, when suddenly she had the feeling that she was being watched.

She then found herself facing a short luminous being wearing a luminous reflective seamless suit, who had a triangular face with cat like eyes.

The little girl had the impression that the creature had been caught by surprise and that he had been inspecting the vegetation in the area.

Her next memory is that she blacked out and saw some lights, and later, she found herself back in the picnic with her family, feeling very strange.

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Germany, exact location not given, on Summer 1959, in the afternoon, the nine-year old witness had strayed from a picnic into some nearby woods when suddenly she had the feeling that she was being watched. She then found herself facing a short luminous being wearing a luminous reflective seamless suit. The being had a triangular face with cat like eyes. The witness had the impression that the creature had been caught by surprise and that he had been inspecting the plant life in the area. Next thing that the witness remembers was blacking out and seeing some lights, later she found herself back in the picnic with her family, feeling very strange.

Albert Rosales indicates that the source is Kenneth Ring PhD, The Omega Project.

Points to consider:

Introduced as an expert on matters of "Near Death Experiences" (NDE), professor Kenneth Ring apparently failed to provide important information such as the place, the date, the witness name, how he picked up the story etc.

The report is obviously totally anecdotic and deprived of the least indication that would allow verification or search for commonplace explanation. It might very well be just the result of the use of hypnosis on the person.
