About 400 meters away, some sort of object was coming along the road. It was dark gray, longer than the timber lorries of the time.
On what appeared to be a coach box at the middle, a figure sat, and two others were running in front of it, carrying flashlight-like implements in their hands. The entities looked like human beings and wore some kind of headgear but it was impossible to discern any details at the distance.
The object suddenly released a light smoke and disappeared on the spot.
The family investigated the area but found no traces.

The author indicates that in 1919, by day in Linaalv, Lappland, Sweden, the Ragnar children, among those Berlind, 9 years, played in the family house when their mother called so that they come to see something at the window. They rushed and noticed within approximately four hundred meters of the dwelling an unspecified object coming along the road, gray dark, longer than nowadays a trailer trucks.
On what appears to be the seat of a bus and in the middle, a silhouette sat, two others ran in front while holding in the hands instruments like flashlights. The silhouettes resemble silhouettes of human beings, they each wear something on the head, but it was impossible for the witnesses to distinguish more details at this distance.
When the object was a little closer to the witnesses, it suddenly emitted a strong smoke and disappeared on the spot. The Ragnar family went to the place of disappearance to see whether there were traces, but none was found.
Jean Sider indicates that the source is Rosales, according to Sven Olof Svensson, sap.
He comments that unnatural smokes and fogs are often reported, in particular but not always in the cases of quasi instantaneous disappearances.
A 400 hundred meters is a great distance, not ideal sigthing conditions. The disappearance might have been an impression due to the fog or smoke masking the craft or vehicle which could have left in the interval.
