According to an English-language 2000's website cataloging UFO observations, Jacques Vallée included in his computerized catalog an observation of June 9, 1954, at 08:30 p.m., between Balaiseaux and Poligny, in the Jura.
This website noted: "An unidentified object was sighted, but with appearance and behavior that most likely would have a conventional explanation. One object was observed for over three minutes."
[Ref. uda1:] "UFODNA" WEBSITE:
The website indicates that on 9 June 1954 at 20:30 between Balaiseaux and Poligny, Balaiseaux, France, "An unidentified object was sighted, but with appearance and behavior that most likely would have a conventional explanation. One object was observed for over three minutes."
The source is indicated as "Vallee, Jacques, Computerized Catalog (N = 3073)".
Totally insufficient information, and apparently without strangeness.
