Summary:

In a general catalog of sighting reports of the Gironde written by the Bordeaux section of the C.F.R.U., published in the ufology magazine Ouranos in the fourth quarter of 1973, it is said that according to the Sud-Ouest newspaper for October 6, 1954, the following observation occurred:

On October 5, 1954, at 11:45 a.m. in Bordeaux, factory workers saw two shiny metal discs at the vertical of their factory. It is said there were other witnesses at the health house of rue Lepic in Bouscat.

Note: "V 2" stands for an observation of poor quality for which a misinterpretation cannot be excluded.

The two authors indicate that on October 5, 1954 at 11:45 in Bordeaux in the Gironde, five factory workmen saw two brilliant metal discs at the vertical of the factory.

They say the source is Sud-Ouest for October 6, 1954.

Donald Johnson indicates that on October 5, 1954, at 11:45 a.m. in Bordeaux, France, five people saw two bright metallic discs fly over a factory.

He gives the source as "Michel Figeut [sic] & Jean-Louis Ruchon, OVNI: Le premier dossier complet des rencontres rapprochees en France, p. 125."

Luc Chastan indicates that in the Gironde in Bordeaux on October 5, 1954 at 11:45 hours five workmen of a factory see two brilliant metallic discs at the vertical of the factory.

Luc Chastan indicates that the source is "Ovni, Premier dossier complet... by Figuet M./ Ruchon J.L. ** Alain Lefeuvre pub. 1979".

It is very possible that the two discs were actually a pair of air force jet fighters. It was not even reported if the "discs" emitted noise or not.
