The newspaper Le Courrier de Saône-et-Loire reported on November 6, 1954, that the previous evening around 7:30 p.m., a 12-year-old boy from Dijon had seen a strange phenomenon: a gray-blue gleam moving across the sky.
The child, who was on Rue du Palais where his parents lived, became frightened and rushed to the safety of his home.
