Summary:

The American authors Wendelle Stevens and August Roberts published in 1986 a book of photographs of alleged UFOs, "UFO Photographs Around the World"; it is said that it contained an image which would have been taken on October 4, 1954 in "Lagny-Rigollet", in the Seine-et-Marne department in France.

For the US website UFOdna which published a catalog of UFO sightings, according to Jacque Vallée's computer catalog, on October 4, 1954 at 04:00 a.m. "between Lagny and Rigollet", in France, "an object was observed and photographed."

Totally insufficient information.

It should be noted that whereas "Lagny" seems to correspond to Lagny-sur-Marne in the Seine-et-Marne department, I found no place or town in this department that matches with "Rigollet" or something like that.

"Rigollet" or "Rigolet" may actually be a witness name.
