Summary:

In its #202 issue of 1981, the ufology magazine Lumières Dans La Nuit reported a sighting of September 2, 1954, around 4 p.m. in Autet in the Haute Saone, the witness being Mrs. Viennot, of Montech, and the investigator, Mrs. Bumat.

In fine weather, on the banks of the Saône, the witness was fishing by throwing his rod very high.

She suddenly saw above a railroad bridge a motionless object that had the appearance of an opaque half-sphere with a flat bottom, with four metallic-looking feet that shone strongly on the ground as if it were they were nickel plated.

She was very scared and only observed the object for a few seconds before fleeing.

Information collected in the Haute-Saône and the Tarn et Garonne

September 2, 1954 around 4 p.m. in Autet (Haute Saône)

Witness Mrs. Viennot de Montech. Investigator Mrs. Bumat.

In fine weather, on the banks of the Saone, I suddenly saw, while I was fishing, throwing my rod very high, above a railroad bridge, a motionless object. It had the appearance of an opaque half-sphere with a flat bottom, with four metallic-looking feet that shone strongly on the ground and, as if they were nickel-plated. I was very scared, and the time to observe the object for a few seconds I ran away.

Explanations:

Map.

The observation is brief, late and succinctly reported. Although it might have been an extraterrestrial craft, I can also imagine that it was a helicopter.
