Again an article of the Vendée Libre for October 31, 1954 for this observation made in the evening in the sky of La Faute sur Mer Sea on October 28, 1954:

La Faute sur Mer
Flying saucers

Flying saucers are said to have been seen, Thursday evening, at 9 p.m., by Mr. Jules Robin, on the one hand, and by Misters André Lavaud and Jacky Joly, on the other hand. The mobile in question is said to have disappeared quickly in the direction of the south-east.


In his case listing "UFOs in the Vendée", the author notes this case:

Thursday October 28, 1954

At about 21:00 In La Faute-sur-MEr (the Vendée), independent witnesses see a "mobile" disappearing quickly towards the south-east.


Jérôme Beau indicates that the source is "'Soucoupes volantes'", La Vendée Libre Published on the Sundays, 31 octobre 1954".
