Summary:

In the January 1981 issue of the ufology magazine Lumières Dans La Nuit, ufologist Fernand Lagarde mentioned a series of sightings in or near Villepinte, which he seemed to have found in notes from a Mr. Chevrel, a correspondent for the magazine.

The dates and locations are not always clear, but it seems that on October 20, one of the witnesses of the October 18 sighting in Villepinte, along with his brother, saw a "similar craft" while returning from the cinema around 11:30 p.m., though it was flying at a higher altitude.

They were frightened and alerted their parents, who had time to see the craft disappear toward the west.

Reports:

[Ref. fle1:] FERNAND LAGARDE:

Scan.

Villepinte in September [sic] 1954 at 11:30 p.m.

Observation of an object in the shape of an orange-red cigar by several witnesses [actually on October 18, 1954]. It came to rest a hundred meters from the Escourrou farm, not far from Pexoria (5 km from Villasavary, road of Mr. and Mrs. Pons). It was 3 m above the ground, but it went back to the west. It shed a bright light and went against the wind. (info. digest Mr. Chevrel)

The day after the next day, one of the witnesses and his brother saw a craft similar to the previous one around 11:30 p.m. on their way back from the movies, but flying at a higher altitude. Frightened they warned their parents who had time to see the craft disappear towards the west (still towards the road of Mr. Mrs. Pons)

Two to three days later, the two brothers and two other comrades saw around 11:30 p.m., the same cigar-shaped craft moving in the same direction . (digest of information from Mr. Chevrel taken from l'independent for October 20, 1954).

Explanations:

Map.

The data is very sparse, and the fact that roughly the same people believed they saw a "craft" on three separate occasions suggests systematic misinterpretations, especially since no particular strangeness was reported.
