ALSACAT-2010-11-26-MASEVAUX-1
Someone reported by email to the Swiss ufology group GREPI that during the lighting of the Christmas lights in Masevaux on November 26, 2010, at about 9 p.m., he had taken between two other shots a picture showing a "light in the sky that was heading to the Euroairport (Basel-Mulhouse Airport)."
He estimates that the radar of the Grand Ballon had to detect it, if there was something.
He said his camera was a Canon Eos 500d in pause-night mode and mounted on a tripod with a Star Cokin filter.
He said he indicated the anomaly in the picture with an arrow he added; unfortunately the image disappeared from the web.

[Ref. gri1:] GROUPE D'UFOLOGIE "GREPI":
During the lighting of Christmas lights in Masevaux in Alsace on November 26, 2010 at about 9 pm, I was surprised to see while taking 2 shots between the two shots there was a light in the sky that was heading to the Euroairport (Basel-Mulhouse Airport).
The radar that controls the traffic zone is installed in the Grand Ballon (above Guebwiller, 1428meters altitude) and controls all air traffic in eastern France to the chain of the Alps and up to the Mont Blanc, Strasbourg and beyond to the north.
If this radar saw something unusual on that date it could not miss the object.
It was at the end of the first round of snowfall and the next snow phase started six hours later.
The camera was a Canon Eos 500d in night-pause mode on a tripod and equipped with a cokin star filter.
The anomaly in the picture is underlined by the presence of an arrow I added by the image processing software.
Unfortunately, the published image; which was at http://www.ovni.ch/temoign/images/masevaux.jpg seems to be unavailable...
It goes without saying that without the image, I can not say much: plane? reflection? streetlamp? headlight? ...
I want to point out however that it is curious to say the direction it moved to from a photo as a photo cannot give real indication of movement.
Moreover, the radar set of the Grand Ballon takes care of planes equipped with transponders, not of any craft that would not have a transponder.
Possible plane.
