Paris-Match Magazine for October 23, 1954, illustrated their article on the "flying saucers" with a photo showing people looking up, and captioned that the 16th (probably from the same month of October 1954), in Montélimar, these people were looking at a "luminous disc" which was in fact a weather balloon.
