In 1985, in a version of his "Francat" catalog of close encounters in France published in the ufology magazine Lumières Dans La Nuit No. 257–258, ufologist Michel Figuet noted that there had been a case of a "close encounter of the third kind" in "Malvezy," in the Aude department, on October 16, 1954, at 5:30 in the morning.
So far, I found nothing more about this case.

In the Aude department, there is a locality called "Malvési," sometimes also spelled "Malvesy" or "Malvézy," located in the commune of Narbonne, and a hamlet named "Malvézy" in the commune of Salles-sur-l'Hers.
So far, I found no other information about this case; which is quite surprising for what would be a "close encounter of the third kind." Of course, the information I currently have is totally insufficient.
