Aimé Michel briefly indicates that on October 14, 1954, near Meursanges, in Tassenières, then on a nearby road, "testimonys were reported."

Luc Chastan indicates in his database that in the Jura in Tassenières on October 14, 1954, at an unknown hour, "Several testimonys are said to have reported the presence of an object."
