The "flying disk" of Roswell
was a weather balloon

Chicago, July 9, night
Sergeant Irving Newton, assigned to the weather station of the Fort Worth air base, has solved today the mystery originally considered as of a "flying disk," which fell near a ranch in Roswell, New Mexico.

The officials immediately identified it as a high altitude weather observation device, used by the United State's army, and composed of a balloon of synthetic rubber and a box containing the instruments for measurements at high altitude.

Il mareaciallo Irving Newton, assegnano alla statione meteorologica della base aerea di Fort Worth, ha oggi eliminato il misterioso ordingo calssificato come un "piatto volante", che era caduto preso una fattoria di Roswell, nel Nuevo Messico.

Il officiale lo ha ommediatemente identificato per un congneno per osservazioni meteorologicha ad all quota, gia da tempo in uno nell'Exercito degli Stati Uniti, a composto da un pallone di gomma sintetica e da una cassettina contenent strumenti per le mazurazioni ad alta quota.
