Note: the witness is a contributor to a ufology mailing list on the Internet in which I also take part, and proposed privately to share sightings to me. Beeing reassured on fact that I respect the anonymity of the people who wish it, the witness forwarded to me several sighting accounts. This one is the first.
Here is the first sighting:
It should be known that the day before, my husband, my son and I, were on the boat which brought us back from England and my son made this comment while looking at the sky: "Mom believes in UFOs and Dad doesn't, I don't know who to believe..." weird, isnt'it!!! what a coincidence!!
The next day we see this display, we were three people - I made a statement at the gendarmerie, they made an investigation which was sent to the GEPAN. Knowing that the GEIPAN is going to put their file on line - I asked the question if our statements had been preserved and yes, they will be in the cases selected. A ufologist of Vernouillet I believe, Mr de ZAN asked me if he could quote this experience in his book GUIDE DU CHASSEUR DE PHENOMENES OVNIS [GUIDE FOR THE HUNTER OF UFO PHENOMENA] - de Vecchi publisher, 1979 - he came to visit our home at the end of 1977.
At the time I had a trade and I was very annoyed by a whole bunch of people who wanted me to tell my story... this is why for the other "experience" I remained silent, except to my family and my friends.
The same evening in Maurecourt, the mother of a school friend of my son - when closing the shutters said: "Oh the big sun" it was at night!!
This vision lasted a few seconds... and everyone laughed about it, of course.
The witness mentions the inclusion of this sighting in a ufology book; the observation is described there in reference 7801700780977 on page 125.
