Mr. Ponzadoux, a well-known butcher in Ste Maxime, was so shocked by what he saw Sunday evening, in the sky of Ste Maxime, that he alerted the head of the local gendarmerie brigade, Warrant Officer Mult yesterday morning.
It was around 8 p.m. on Sunday when Mr. Ponzadoux saw, above the village, an object as big as half the moon, blue-green in color, and flying at high speed towards the bottom of the gulf to suddenly disappear.
"It did not in any way resemble an airplane or a rocket fallout," the observer specified.
