ASK FOR MARTIANS...

Flying saucers!

Two women from Livry see a strange creature

Martian... or orangutan?

Two farmers from Livry-sur-Seine, Mrs. L... and her sister-in-law, Mrs. B..., had gone for a walk at "Les Uselles," near Livry, about two kilometers from the farm. As they were crossing a wooded path with their two children, they saw a strange creature lying in the middle of the path... According to the description the two women gave us, it was a being about the size of a man, but whose entire body was covered with silky brown fur, reminiscent of a bear’s coat...

"What struck us most was the head of the strange animal: a large round head with a small nose, eyes of incredible brightness, but no ears..."

"We took a two-kilometer detour, not daring to approach the mysterious animal, which, as we were leaving, gave us a wave of the arm."

Men armed with hunting rifles soon went into the woods and searched in all directions... But they found nothing...

In Livry, where speculation is running wild, some say it was a Martian... Didn’t some people claim to have seen a cigar-shaped object? Others think it was more likely an orangutan or an injured animal...

Machault

Unexplained phenomena in the sky

Mr. J..., a butcher from Fontainebleau, saw in the sky above Machault a circular-shaped craft emitting an orange glow and silently crossing the sky at a moderate speed. The craft was the size of the moon.

Mr. J... stated clearly that it was neither a plane nor a fireball.

Pontault

A red disc

Mr. Marc Germain, 27 years old, residing in Pontault-Combault, saw during the night of October 9 to 10, for about half an hour, a strange object shaped like a disc, red in color, which was leaving behind luminous trails.

Nandy

Strange sighting at one hundred meters in altitude

A butcher from Seine-Port, Mr. Demarcy, and a butcher from Saint-Fargeau, Mr. Griffaut, who were driving near Nandy, saw in the sky, in the direction of Savigny-le-Temple, a luminous disc which, they said, was flying at about 100 meters in altitude. They got out of the car and [missing part] for about one minute.
