A couple that was driving along last night at around 21:00 hours from the SETIA campground toward the city along the peripheral road witnessed a large, sky-blue light moving over the lagoon, changing color and size as it did soOnce this newspaper was alerted, a reporter from this newsroom was able to see the light which at the time remain static over Mt. Brown, seen from the San José Beach Facility. Its color was now red and it gave off flashes.
Minutes later a local resident contacted EL FUERTE [to say that she had seen] the light descend and lose itself behind the treeline. An hour later, at 22:30, two other witnesses saw the phenomenon on Route 20, near the Aeroclub. The object moved slowly westward.
This sighting can be added to others which have been taking place in our area in recent weeks.
