The article below was published in the daily newspaper Le Courrier de Trois-Pistoles, of Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada, on July 15, 1967.

Flying Saucers (Trois-Pistoles, Gaspésie)

Mr. Paulo Lévesque, an employee at Irving Petroleum, gave us a fairly precise description of what he saw with his wife last Sunday evening around 10 p.m. According to his testimony, an oval-shaped, whitish disk passed over the city, from west to east, at an astonishing speed. Another person also saw a similar object a short time before, at the Trois-Pistoles River.

Another testimony was given to us, this time by an electronics technician well known to the population. Mr. Morency saw on the edge of the shore, two months ago, two objects corresponding to the usual description. Using binoculars, he was able to see that the light emitted by what are called "flying saucers" varied in intensity. An intense radiation, tending towards yellow and green, would be the characteristic of the vehicle. A policeman called to the scene also noted the fact, while one saucer had disappeared completely and the other was racing above the river at lightning speed...
