Reports:

[Ref. js1:] JEAN SIDER:

The author indicates that between October 8th and 12th, 1954, at an unknown hour in Blanzay in the Vienne, a lady of the commune wishing to remain anonymous saw when going to Civray, at the place "La Combe D'Airoux", a flying saucer posed in a field beside the road.

Near this weird machine stood a small man as wide as high with enormous and luminous eyes.

Jean Sider indicates that the source is Le Journal de Civray, Civray, the Vienne, for October 14, 1954, page 6.

He comments that the succinct narrative leaves us wondering.

[Ref. lc1:] LUC CHASTAN:

[Ref. gz1:] JULIEN GONZALEZ:

The author indicates that there was a close encounter of the third kind in Blanzay, in the Vienne, between 8 and 12 October 1954, at an unknown hour.

A lady of the commune who wanted to remain anonymous saw a flying saucer placed in a field beside the road, when she going to Civray, at the place called "La Combe d'Airoux". Near this weird machine stood a little man as wide as he was high, with enormous and luminous eyes.

The sources are indicated as Le Journal de Civray (Civray) for October 1, 1954; Jean Sider, Le dossier 1954 et l'imposture rationaliste, pages 189-190.

Explanations:

Not looked for yet.

The logical route from Blanzay to Civray is by the departmental road 7, on about 6 kilometers. It is a road in the open countryside virtually devoid of dwellings, the road is bordered of hedges and fields. There is a quarry on the left. I could not identify, in 2017, a locality Combe d'Arroux or some approaching name.
