The 1954 French flap:

October 20, 1954, Villepinte, Aude:

Reference number for this case: 20-Oct-54-Villepinte. Thank you for including this reference number in any correspondence with me regarding this case.

The author indicates that two days after the observation in Bram and Villasavary, therefore on October 20, 1954, one of the witnesses and his brother, towards 11:30 p.m., while returning from the movies, saw a craft "similar to the previous one" thus "a luminous disc which moved at a very sharp pace" and which "offered the characteristic of changing its color", but moving at a higher altitude.

They were frightened and alerted their parents who then could see the craft disappearing towards the west.

The source is indicated as being Mr. Chevrel who would have had the information from the newspaper L'Independent for October 20, 1954.

Not looked for yet.

The information given is rather vague: the previous observation can be in Bram or Villasavary or Castelnaudary or Villepinte, since an "object" considered to be the same one had been reported from all these places.

I noted the case as being in Villepinte by convenience and because there might have been a movie theater there. But the whole affair, place, date, description, is hardly reliable.
