Aimé Michel indicates that in Thaon, a village which is between Caen and Arromanches, 8 km north of Carpiquet, witnesses saw a circular, luminous and white object on September 15, 1954, at eight o'clock.

[Ref. lc1:] LUC CHASTAN:

Luc Chastan indicates that in the Calvados in Thaon on September 15, 1954, at 08:00 "A shining white object of oval form is observed; which disappears towards the north."

The source is indicated as "M.O.C. par Michel Aimé ** Arthaud 1958".
