October 13, 1954, Romans-sur-Isère, Drôme:

Reference for this case: 13-Oct-54-Romans-sur-Isère.
Please cite this reference in any correspondence with me regarding this case.

In his 1958 book on the French wave of 1954, pionneer ufologist Aimé Michel told that on October 13, 1954, three out of nine sihtings were on y astright line, inclusing a case at "Romans".

The two other cases help to find out that it was Romans-sur-Isère, in the drôme department.

[Ref. aml1:] AIME MICHEL:

Reporting on the cases of October 13, 1954, which would be 9 according to him, Aimé Michel indicates that only two are aligned with a third, at Romans.

Aimé Michel gave no source and no other information on that case.

[Ref. gqy1:] GUY QUINCY:

So all I have was "Romans" and "October 13, 1954" and the information that the place is in line with the cases of Cortevaix and Trévoux. Thus:

To note that Cortevaix occurred on the 12th, not the 13th, and that whereas Michel said there were 9 cases on the 13th, I counted 14 cases so far with that date, plus 3 that are at that date or on the nearest date, plus dozend where only the month, October, is known to me.

Of course the conclusion for this case for now can only be "Uncertain date, totally insufficient information."
