Subj: witness (August 1990, in the center of France.)
Here is, in a few, the observation which I had made in the month of August 1990, in the center of France, region of Moulins, whereas I was in company of a friend [female] in a small motor home of the Volkswagen type.
We were on holiday and were wandering towards Massif Central. The evening was pleasant, and after a sympathetic dinner which I specify to have been sober, we asked the landlord to tell us of a quiet place in the high surrounding hills, to station and sleep. On his indications, we gained reached a small wood on a hillside, from where we had, in the twilight, a splendid sight on the valley.
the night had not completely fallen when my glance was attracted by a kind of luminous activity downwards (at a distance from approximately 3 to 4 km). It was as a kind of dance of illuminated helicopters whose trajectories did not seem to obey any logic. I immediately invited my partner to observe with me what initially appeared to me to correspond to military operations except for the detail that this supposedly close flotilla emitted no noise.
I must specify here that we had left the lighting on in the motor home. After five minutes of observation, we saw a luminous point clearly part off from the others and grow suddenly bigger until it became a precise shape, like a cone, truncated at the base, on which appeared what one could have compared to port-holes enlightened from the interior. The object approached our vehicle and positioned itself at its vertical, still without emitting the least sound.
I then rushed to the switch to extinguish the light which lit our shelter and which could show through by the small tainted glass sunroof of the motor home. I also closed the curtains of the side openings, and we remained panicked during a quarter of hour, hoping that our observer would ignore us. It was probably the case since when we found the courage to take a look again, the lights in the valley had disappeared.
what I tell you here is authentic. my name is [Firstname NAME]. I am a lawyer at the court of [CITY] in [Department], I am a former barristers president and, except bad information of my share, my reputation is not that of a whimsical or an inveterate liar.
