I read your web site with great interest. I had seen the Unsolved Mysteries show that previously aired as well. It brought back a lot of memories for me. The reason I was so interested is that I too had also seen what I believe was the same UFO that morning of May 19, 1967.

I was in Otterburne College in Otterburne Manitoba that morning. I can’t recall the time of the morning but it was later in the morning. I was in class, and I saw a distant object flying across the sky. At first, I thought it was a plane. It was flying at a normal jet speed, but suddenly, it made a 90 degree turn upwards, continued to fly a ways, and then back down 90 degrees. I yelled out in the middle of the class “ A UFO! ” pointing to the sky. Everyone got up to look but it had displaced itself so fast that they were now looking in the wrong area. I had not lost sight of it, but it was a distance away, and it would be hard to spot if you had not seen it already.

Of course, all the kids were teasing me, and even the teacher, whom I see regularly, had his suspicions, given we were studying poetry, and he had just told me to use my imagination more after I indicated I could not understand the poem we were studying. When I went to my next class that afternoon, a few of my classmates had drawn a flying saucer with little aliens beside it to tease me.

Well the next morning when the paper headlined the Falcon Lake issue, everyone was then interested in talking to me. This is the first time I’ve ever mentioned it for a long time other than to my former teacher. To my knowledge, I was the only one who had seen it in my class, or school for that matter.

Just thought you might be interested.
