Hello,

Visiting your wesite rather regularly, I decide to report the observation I made last year in December, on SNCF [railway] line Lyon-Paris. It nust have been ten or eleven o'clock in the morning. I had sat on the window's side and my glance wandered on the cold countryside. Suddenly, I see a dark gray triangle operating a slow half-turn at an altitude of approximately three hundred meters. It moves away initially at slow speed. Its proportions appear gigantic to me: four times an airliner, I would say. It glides into the air, then, without transition, but with an unbelievable power, it disappears suddenly towards the horizon. All the scene lasted only a few seconds. The TGV [French high speed train] slipped by at sharp pace, the UFO too. I lost sight of it almost at once. The fact remains that I was awestruck by the power and the grace which emanated from it. The acceleration particularly impressed me. I am not a specialist in aeronautics, but to my knowledge, no known terrestrial machine is likely to have such a behavior. I am unaware wether the UFO emitted a noise, for, I repeat that I was locked up in an train car slipping by train at sharp pace. It was a superb and fugacious spectacle, a little worrying all the same, since I feel the need to let it out of my memory one year later.

Cheers for your patient and rigorous work of compilation and analysis,
