Subject: ufo sighting
My girlfriend and I live in a village in the South-east of Nimes in the Gard.
In the evening of Friday 05 August 2005 at 11:42 p.m., we observed an object of triangular shape pass in the sky.
We were on the terrace looking at the stars, it was a beautiful weather, no wind, the sky was perfectly clear, when suddenly my friend saw a light of orange colour (same color as sodium lamps) and of a rather large size which came from the west,
It is at this time that she alerted me while first thinking of a satellite. When the object passed overhead, we saw that it was composed of three orange lights laid out in an equilateral triangle. The size of the object was about of the width of a fist held at the end of arm.
This triangle seemed to slip into the sky, emitting absolutely no noise at all. It moved in the sky in straight line from the West to the East from the constellation of the Herdsman (moment when it was seen) towards Cassiopea (moment when it passed behind the house and where we lost sight of it).
The observation was very short, approximately less than ten seconds, the moving object slightly more quickly than a satellite. Its height in the sky was approximately about fifty degrees.
The three lights shone little and appeared a little vague (a little like a reflection in a window pane), which led us to think that the object " flew " above the atmosphere and was to be of a rather consequent size.
Hoping that our testimony could be useful to you and that it will be confirmed by other people having observed the same phenomenon this evening there ......
We do not wish to communicate our coordinates
