Hello,

I will report to you what I managed to see this Friday, May 14, 2010. I live in the island of La Réunion and I managed to make a rather disconcerting sighting in my opinion. It was approximately 5 a.m., when while looking through the window, I saw a red luminous dot in the sky. For information, the sky was clear and the night rather clear. I saw this dot turning in the sky rather slowly before seeing it making a half turn towards the mountain. It is when that I saw it going away towards the mountain that I managed to rather clearly distinguish the object's contours: it was slightly ovoid, and I could see that it emitted a red-white light. The object did not make any noise and advanced rather slowly. Unfortunately, I was neither able to take photographs, nor videos. I left 10 minutes outside afterwards, being under the shock, but I did not see anything any more. I watched the sky during still a half hour, but no more any trace of the object. Being a person of rational nature, I tried to find explanations such as the presence of a celestial body or a plane. The theory of the celestial body appears not very probable to me considering the speed and the trajectory of the object. That of the plane also falls short for many obvious reasons: the first, is the hour: indeed, there is no more plane which circulates on the island at 5 o'clock in the morning. Moreover, no plane flies over the island, when they land or take off, they skirt all the coast. These are my observation and my conclusions.

If you have questions allowing to clarify one or more points of my story, do not hesitate.
