Bucino (Italy), 2 (U.P.). -- An Italian peasant woman encountered two little Martians who love flowers.
Mrs. Rosa Lotti, 40 years old, was bringing flowers to the small cemetery in Bucino, in the Arno Valley, when she saw, on a small hill, a cigar-shaped craft about two meters long.
"It looked like a big cigar, very thick in the middle and tapered at both ends," Mrs. Lotti told the carabinieri. "Through a window," she added, "I saw two little seats inside."
"I was about to run away when two little men, no more than a meter tall, came around the craft. They had human faces, but their teeth were tiny. They wore gray coveralls and leather helmets."
"They took the flowers from my hands and spoke words I couldn't understand. I ran away screaming."
There's no doubt these Martians must have thought Mrs. Lotti, in the name of all Earthlings, was welcoming them…
