Calcutta, 1st (U.P.). -- Hundreds of people in northern Bengal claim to have seen luminous objects crossing the sky at fantastic speeds yesterday.
In Calcutta, luminous umbrella-shaped objects were seen.
But these reports coincide with the festival of Diwali, a time when lighted balloons are released to show the way to paradise for the deceased ancestors who have not yet found it.
