The Marine Prefecture informs
In the afternoon yesterday, various communications to the National Maritime Prefecture have been received by dependencies of this service in the inner parts of the country.
The Subprefecture of Santo Tomé informed that between the 10:07 PM and 10:08 PM on Saturday 10, they were informed that 8 to 10 UFOs were traveling over the area from the South-East to the North-East, at an approximated distance of 20 kilometers and an altitude of roughly 5000 meters. In the sky over Santa Fe
SANTA FE. - The commentary in this capital has been on the passage of the luminous object - according the information we gave in our newspaper yesterday - observed on Saturday at 10:00 PM in the night sky of Santa Fe, with a path coming from the Southwest and towards the Northeast, at fantastic speed. This speed was estimated by members of the Center of Observers as about 6000 kilometers per hour. Other cities, San Justo and Reconquista among others, have already received this information on the observation of strange flying objects. The airfield of Cambá Punta also received the visit of the "saucers". We have received the communication of a pilot, who described the sight as "a wonderful sight." According to his indications, "the was a large one and 15 smaller ones, all displaying a considerable and changing luminosity."
The Missions Radio gave the account of the passage of several UFOs that evolved on the military installations of the city. In the city of Gobernador Roca, at 150 kilometers of Posada, the phenomenon was also observed, and the unidentified objects moved away in the direction of Paraguay.

The next event happened in the locality of Vipos, in the Northern region of the province, near the limits with Salta, 50 kilometers distant of this capital, at moments when the driver of the omnibus, Juan Carlos Aramayo, had stopped the march of the vehicle to control the state of the tires.

Above Rosario
ROSARIO. - In this city, the passage of a luminous body in the sky was also observed, at approximately 10:00 PM on Saturday, that also was described by the air base of Reconquista and the cities of Santa Fe and Corrientes. According to declarations of the president of Cosmos Association, professor Victorio Capolongo, expert in this matter, it is his opinion that it was the fall of a big meteorite that crossed the firmament at great speed, at about forty degrees elevation relative to the horizon in the direction of the Southwest.
A "squadron"
CORRIENTES. - The night before last night, minutes after 10:00 PM, people who journeyed occasionally by the streets of this city sighted "a UFO squadron" at a high altitude. The references of the witnesses of the unusual event assert that about fifteen unidentified objects, of intense luminosity - presumably flying saucers - furrowed the sky in the West-Northwestern direction, leaving an extensive white trail behind.
In the opinion of aeronautical experts, it is possible to discard absolutely that this was some type of aircraft or terrestrial satellite, given the speed of its displacement.
A "luminous train"
POSADAS. - A UFO fleet flew on the sky of Posadas, the night before last night. The strange phenomenon was observed at approximately 10:00 PM by numerous people in the neighborhood and specially by two brothers, known retailers in this town, who were driving back to the city from the inner parts of the province. Stopping their vehicle, they lowered to observe the passage of the objects, they could do this without having to leave the vehicle to the heat of the open terrain. According to these versions, the sighting was of a large flying object with two powerful reflectors at the front, and at a very short distance, 14 to 15 other vehicles which were flying in formation one behind another, the whole looking like a locomotive guiding a long train, including with illuminated windows in all the cars. The UFO appeared to be flying to the South-East, and, flying above Posadas, they continued their course to the Northwest.
At Resistencia
RESISTENCIA. - After 10:00 PM and during long minutes, the night before last night, a luminous elongated object extended, cigarette shaped, accompanied by illuminated smaller spheres, as if they were a formation or squadron, were observed in the sky in this capital. The cigarette shaped body gave off a powerful luminosity and it moved at great speed and altitude from the South-West to the Northeast. The rare body and its accompanying spheres were seen in Ravines, in Fontana and the city of Corrientes, where editors of the newspaper "El Litoral," in Santa Fe, could observe the phenomenon. According to personal of the Civil Aeronautics, the objects moved at several thousands meters of altitude and at speeds very superior to the speed of sound. The main shape varied slowly from red colors to purple colors. It was also observed in Reconquista, in the province of Santa Fe.
Thousands of testimonies
OBERA, Misiones. - at moments in which two thousand people were in the Loma district to participate in the feasts of San Juan - at approximately 10:15 PM -, the presence of strange luminous bodies was observed in the firmament. The speaker of the local radio station, who transmitted the events of the feast directly from the street, called the attention on the phenomenon, so that a large part of the population could watch the space, where during approximately five minutes, strange objects emitted beams of light, moving from the Southwest to the Northeast.

LONDON. - The flying saucers celebrated the twentieth anniversary of their first sighting last night, performing their appearance in large number over Great Britain.
Five unidentified flying objects (UFOs) were caught on photographic plates, while performing turns and extraordinary maneuvers in the vicinity of the Manchester airport. They were seen by a group of about 300 skywatchers of the United Kingdom who were celebrating the anniversary by spending the night in observing the sky.
The patience demonstrated by the London branch of the International Sky Observers (main skywatching organization of world-wide reaches in which around 40,000 people in 23 countries take part,) was thanked when 15 people observed an object with a cigar shape crossing the sky a few kilometers from the East of the capital, while other sighted another UFO evolving in the sky, in the West of London.
Twenty years later
"The results have been quite good in this country," said to Reuter Brinsley Le Poer Trench, aged 56, president the International Sky Observers today. "It was one very bad night, but there was much movement of airplanes and we could also observe a pair of satellites."

Informa la Prefectura Marítima
En horas de la tarde de ayer pudieron conocerse varia comunicaciones dirigidas a la Prefectura Nacional Maritima por dependencias de esa institución del interior del país.
La Subprefectura de Santo Tomé informó que entre las 22.7 y las 22.8 del sábado se avistó por la zona el desplazamiento de 8 a 10 OVNI de Sudeste a Nordeste, a una distancia aproximada de 20 kilómétros y a una altura de alrededor de 5000 metres. Se agregó, adomás, que en el lunar se hallaba el prefecto de zona del Alto Uruguay, en visita de inspección, quien también observó los objetos. En Yapeyú, el paso fue visto entre las 22.5 y las 22.6 con dirección Sudeste a Nordeste. Por su parte, la comunicación de Paso de los Libres indica que entre las 22 y las 22.4 pasaron OVNI, los que fueron vistos por personal y pobladores, en direción Sudeste a Nordeste. Por último, el paso de objetos luminosos fue registrado en Zárate desde las 22.7 hasta las 22.8.
En el cielo santafecino
SANTA FE. - El comentario sostenido en esta capital ha sido el paso del objeto luminoso - según informamos en nuestra edición de ayer - observado en la noche del sábado a las 22.5 en el cielo santafecino, con la dirección de Sur-Oeste al Nordeste, a fantástica velocidad. Esta fue estimada por miembros del Centro de Observadores en unos 6000 kilómetros por hora. Ya se habían recibido en ésta informaciones sobre la observación de extraños objetos voladores en ostras localidades, San Justo y Reconquista entre otras. En el aeródromo de Cambá Punta también fueror vistos supaestos "platos". Se recibió asimismo, la comunicación de un piloto, que calificó el hecho como "espectáculo maravilloso". Según indicó, "eran una unidad grande y 15 pequenas, todas desprediendo una luminosidad considerable y cambiante".
Muchos testimonios
Son numerosos los testimonios sobre el paso de los "OVNI" sobre Santa Fe en la noche del sábado. Miembros de la agrupación Galileo Galilei, de la Escuela Industrial de la Nación, hicieron la obcervación comprobatoria, calculando la velocidad en 4000 kilómetros por hora. La altitud respecto del horizonte fue estimada en unos 50 grados y en 45 grados en relación al cenit. El desplazamiento era silencioso, descartándose en absoluto que pudiera tratarse de un cometa o de un satélite artificial.
También observaron el fenómeno miembros del personal y pasajeros del avión de Aerolineas Argentinas, vuelo 547, que había llegado procedente de Mendoza, a las 22.3, es decir dos minutos antes de registrarse el paso de los "OVNI" sobre esta ciudad.
Pasajeros de un ómnibus
SAN MIGUEL DE TUCUMAN. - Los pasajeros y el personal del coche número 31 de la empresa La Veloz del Norte, que efectúa el servicio de ómnibus entre esta ciudad y Salta, observaron las evoluciones de un objeto volador no identificado.
SAN MIGUEL DE TUCUMAN. - El suceso ocurrió en la localidad de Vipos, en la región norte de la provincia, en las proximidades del limite con Salta, distante 50 kilómetros de esta capital, en momentos en que el conductor del ómnibus, Juan Carlos Aramayo, había detenido la marcha del vehículo para controlar el estado de los neumáticos.
El lugar está próximo a la localidad de Campo Mogotes, donde a partir de 1960, vecinos y conductores de diversos vehículos advirtieron la presencia, en reiteradas oportunidades, de objetos voladores no identificados.
También en la vecina localidad de Trancas, hace algunos años, un plato volador sobrevoló y permaneció durante varios minutos en las inmediaciones de la estancia de propriedad de la familia Moreno, siendo advertida su presencia por los dueños del predio.
Una declaración
Ahora, tras no haber sido detectados por un tiempo en el lugar, los platos voladores hicieron nuevamente su aparición.

Observación en Córdoba
CORDOBA. - Un cuerpo de gran luminosidad, que dejaba tras su paso una estela brillante similar a las de los cometas, cruzó el sábado por la noche el firmamento de esta capital. La aparición del fenómeno se produjo cerca de las 22 de ante-ayer, y su presencia fue escasamente advertida por la población de la ciudad, que en esos momentos permanecía en sus hogares o en lugares cerrados. pues la temperatura - pese al varnillo de San Juan - era baja.
Sobre Rosario
ROSARIO. - En esta ciudad también se observó, aproximadamente a las 22 del dia sábado, el paso de un cuerpo luminoso sobre el cielo, que igualmente fue divisado por la base aérea de Reconquista y de las ciudades de Santa Fe y Corrientes. Según declaraciones del titular de la Asociación Cosmos, profesor Victorio Capolongo, versado en esta materia, a su entender se trataria de la caída de un gran meteorito que cruzó la boveda celeste a gran velocidad, a unos cuarenta grados sobre la altura del horizonte en dirección Sudoeste.
Una "escuadrilla"
CORRIENTES. - Anteanoche, minutos después de las 22, personas que transitaban ocasionalmente por las calles de esta ciudad avistaron a gran altura "una escuadrilla de OVNI". Las referencias de los testigos del insólito suceso aseveran que unos quince objetos no identificados, de intensa luminosidad - presumiblemente platos voladores - surcaron el cielo en dirección Oeste-Noroeste, dejando tras de si una extensa estela blanca.
En opinión de peritos aeronáuticos cabría descartar en absoluto que se trata de algún tipo de aeronave o de satélite terrestre, dada la velocidad de su desplazamiento.
Un "Tren luminoso"
POSADAS. - Una flotilla de OVNI voló sobre el cielo de Posadas, anteanoche. El extraño fenómeno fue observado aproximadamente a las 22 por numerosos vecinos y especialmente por dos hermanos, conocidos comerciantes de ésta, que regresaban en su automóvil desde el interior de la provincia. Deteniendo el vehículo, se bajaron a observar el paso de los objetos, lo que pudieron hacer sin ningún inconveniente por hallarse en pleno descampado. Según estas versiones, se trataría de un gran objeto volador con dos poderosos reflectore al frente, al cual seguian en formación de fila india, y a muy corta distancia, de 14 a 15 otros vehículos, pareciendo el todo una locomotora guiando un largo tren, inclusive con ventanillas iluminadas en todos los coches. Los OVNI aparecieron volando del Sudeste y, pasando sobre Posadas, continuaron rumbo Noroeste.
En Resistencia
RESISTENCIA. - Luego de las 22 y durante largos minutos, anteanoche fueron observados en el cielo en esta capital, un objeto luminoso alargado, en forma de cigarro, acompañado de esferas iluminádas más pequeñas, como si se tratara de una formación o escuadrilla. El cuerpo de forma de cigarro desprendía una potente luminosidad y se desplazaba a gran velocidad y altura en sentido Suroeste a Nordeste. El raro cuerpo y sus esferas acompañantes fueron vistos y en Barranqueras, Fontana y la ciudad de Corrientes, y donde redactores del diario "El Litoral", en Santa Fe, pudieron observar el fenómeno. Según personal de la Aeronáutica Civil, los objetos se desplazaban a varios miles de metros de altura y a velocidades muy superiores a la del sonido. El núcleo principal variaba lentamente del tono rojo a los azules y violetas. También fue observado en Reconquista, provincia de Santa Fe.
Miles de testigos
OBERA, Misiones. - en momentos en que unas dos mil personas se hallaban en el Barrio Loma para participar de los festejos de San Juan - aproximadamente a las 22.15 -, se observó en el firmamento la presencia de extraños cuerpos luminosos. El locutor de la emisora local, que transmitía directamente desde la calle los sucesos de la festivídad, llamó la atención sobre el fenómeno, de manera que gran parte de la población pudo observar en el espacio, durante aproximadamente cinco minutos, los haces de luz emitidos por los extraños objetos, que se desplazaban del Sudoeste al Nordeste.
En Gran Bretaña
LONDRES, 25 (R.). - Los platillos voladores celebraron el vigésimo aniversario de su primer avistamiento, haciendo anoche su aparición en gran número sobre Gran Bretaña.
Fueron captados por la placa fotográfica cinco objetos voladores no identificados (Ovni), mientras practicaban giros y maniobras extraordinarias en la vecindad del aeropuerto de Manchester. Lo logró un grupo de unos 300 observadores celeste del Reino Unido que celebraron el aniversario pasando la noche en observación celeste.
La pacienca demostrada por la filial londinense de los Observadores Celestes Internacionales (entidad organizadora de una observación nocturna de alcances mundiales en que intervienen alrededor de 40.000 personas en 23 paises), se vio recompensada cuando 15 personas observaron un objeto con forma de cigarro recorriendo el cielo a unos pocos de kilómetros al Este de esta capital, habiendo otros visto evolucionar sobre el cielo, al Oeste de Londres, a otro Ovni.
Veinte años después
"Los resultados han sido bastante buenos en este país", dijo hoy a Reuter Brinsley Le Poer Trench, de 56 años de edad, presidente de los Exploradores Celestes Internacionales. "Fue una noche muy mala, pero hubo mucho movimiento de aviones y también pudimos observar a un par de satélites".
Manifestó que confía en poder componer el rompecabezas para lograr un cuadro general de las actividades de los platillos en todo el mundo con los informes que le vayan llegando de otras observaciones realizadas en otras regiones del globo.
La observación de platillos voladores dio comienzo el 24 de junio de 1947, cuando el piloto norteamericano Kenneth Arnold avistó a nueve objetos brillantes que navegaban por el cielo mientras el cruzaba las montañas Cascade, en el noroeste de América del Norte. "Se desplazaban asemejándose a platillos flotando sobre el agua", dijo más tarde, acuñando un nombre que ha pasado a la historia e iniciado una locura de misterio internacional.
