LA PLATA. -- Residents of different areas of this district - even of villages located in opposite geographical situations - agreed that on Sunday night an unidentified flying object crossed the sky of La Plata.
The object - all witnesses agreed that it was a "flying saucer" - appeared in the southwest corner and moved northwest toward the La Plata River, until it disappeared.
A resident of City Bell, living next to the 101st Army Communications Battalion, said that the object appeared around 9:30 p.m. and that its evolution in space lasted a few seconds, developing an extraordinary speed in its transit, less, however, than that recorded by an aerolite when it entered the atmosphere. The object was circular in shape and, according to the aforementioned witness, "it narrowed at the ends and left a bluish trail." A columnist for a local evening newspaper, who lives in the opposite neighborhood, made identical assessments. He also expressed himself in the same way. Residents of neighborhood 522, from 7 to 9, reported that they were resting in their respective patios when the fleeting vision of the UFO appeared before them.
Finally, it should be noted that in the competent official bodies located in this area, it was said that for the moment there was no news on the subject.

LA PLATA. -- Vecinos de distintas zonas de este dtstrlto - Incluso de localidades opuestas en cuanto a su ubicación geográfica- coincidieron en señalar que en la noche del domingo último un objeto volador no identificado surcó el cielo de La Plata.
El objeto - todos los testigos coincidieron en cuanto a calificarlo como "plato volador" - apareció en el ángulo sudoeste y evolucionó hacia el Noroeste en dirección al río de La Plata, hasta perderse.
Una vecina de City Bell, domiciliada junto al Batallón 101 de Comunicaciones del Ejército, afirmó que el objeto apareció alrededor de las 21.30 y que su evolución en el espacio se prolongó por segundos, desarrollando en su tránsito una extraordinaria velocidad, menor, no obstante, a la que registra un aerolito al entrar 'en la atmósfera. El objeto tenía forma circular y según expresó la aludida testigo, "se afinaba en los extremos y dejaba una estela azulada". Idénticas apreciaciones formuló un cronista de un vespertino local, que se domicilia en una zona opuesta. También se expresaron de la misma manera. vecinos de la zona de 522, de 7 a 9. Estos Indicaron que se hallaban dedicados al descanso en sus respectivos patios cuando apareció ante ellos la fugaz visión del OVNI.
Cabe consignar finalmente que en los organismos oficiales competentes, ubicados en esta zona., se dijo que por el momento no II tenían novedades sobre ese hecho.
