Saucer or not... still a strange phenomenon in the Hesdin sky

On Monday, October 18, at 8:45 p.m., Mr. Jean Gambier, a sworn police officer in Hesdin, was on Farré Street when his attention was drawn by a bright glow in the sky, in the northern direction above the Hesdin forest. The luminous object, which had an elongated shape, seemed - according to witnesses who joined Mr. Gambier - to be descending from the sky; its upper part was bright red, its center dazzling white, and the lower part trailed a shower of stars and luminous streaks. The phenomenon lasted about thirty seconds, lighting up the entire sky. The object then rose vertically and disappeared at a staggering speed, leaving behind a trail of flames that, as Mr. Gambier described it, resembled a fireworks rocket...?

Several residents of Huby-St-Leu were also witnesses to this phenomenon, and if this information had not been provided by a sworn official, we might have hesitated to publish it.

But the fact remains... Just like the other events of the same kind... inexplicable... at least to us.

But let us not jump to conclusions.

R.B.
