THE FLYING SAUCER SEEN BY THE VILLAGE CONSTABLE LOOKED LIKE A BUS

Metz, September 22 (F.-T.). -- When the village constable of Oberdorff (Moselle) told his story to the Bouzonville gendarmes, he added:

"I didn't dare come right away. I was afraid they'd think I was crazy. But I had the whole night to think it over. Believe me, I saw it."

Louis Moll claims, in fact, to have seen a flying saucer. Here is his account:

"Sunday evening, around 9:15 p.m., I saw in the sky, coming from the East, a great light. I followed it. It landed horizontally near the village of Tromborn. The craft was fairly large. Its lights changed color and looked like neon tubes. The whole thing was shaped like a small bus."

"While it was on the ground, I thought I could see black shapes moving inside. Then the craft took off vertically, glowing orange before turning red and disappearing."

For now, the gendarmerie, still skeptical, is questioning all the inhabitants of Bouzonville and the surrounding area in an effort to find at least one person who witnessed the same phenomenon.
