Ancient extraterrestrial objects?

If aliens visited Earth, there nust be ancient traces, in particular, objects leftovers that could be found by archaelogy. I have wondered if anything has ever been found, and indeed there are such reports. The conclusion that there are extraterrestrial ancient objects on Earth might not be bulletproof, there are generally no valid scientific studies, but it is important to aknowledge that, at least, such cases do exist.

3000-ft long translucent object:

February 14, 1957, authorities discovered a 3,000-foot-long translucent object near the Bolivian border of Chile, on the slopes of a volcanic peak, as reported in the Lima, Peru, newspaper, Las Prensa. Although authorities investigated, silence fell on the incident, as nothing further about it was ever reported.
