Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

In the time and the place of a landing of a UFO without occupants, in Rosario, Argentina, December 6, 1981, it seems that the Press in Argentina reported on another story said to have occurred on December 7, 1981:

Ricardo Buchark, aged 59, a carpenter, was that night outside at his place because he could not sleep.

He suddenly saw within 30 meter from him, a strange circular object in the shape of a saucer come down, with illuminated port-holes that emitted very powerful flashes.

Immediately, four strange occupants, approximately a meter tall, with broad and strong trunks, long arms and rather short legs, came out of the saucer. They had eyes in very thin lines that went towards the side of the head, looking silvery or metallic.

These beings moved during approximately 4 minutes around their apparatus, went up inside, the apparatus took off at once in a whirr, then moved away towards the Parana river.

Buchark claimed that he had remained like paralyzed during a good moment before being able to return at his place, and that he first of all did not want to tell his family, fearing they would call him crazy.

He claimed that the craft had left traces and remainders of some sort of metal; which, he claimed, was proven to be pure titanium when analyzed.

Buchark remained agitated, sleeping little and having lost the appetite. He said he wanted to talk about this adventure only to the representatives of the Air Forces.

In a catalogue of physiological effects of UFOs on witnesses, John Schluesser indicates that on December 7, 1981, in Rosario, Argentina, according to Cronica, Buenos Aires, Argentina for December 9, 1981, Ricardo Buchark was outside, when a craft came down and hovered just above the ground.

Four little beings came out, and he was paralyzed until the craft flew away.

Albert Rosales indicates that in Rosario, Argentina, on December 7, 1981, at an unknown time, Ricardo Buchark was outside when a craft came down and hovered just above the ground.

Four little beings in shiny silvery suits came out of the object.

Buchark was paralyzed until the craft flew away.

Rosales indicates that there is no other information and that the source is Cronica, Buenos Aires, December 9, 1981.

Points to consider:

The story might be doubted:

• The only mentioned source seems to be a newspaper article, not available for examination.
• If the sighting occurred on the 7th, and was in the newspaper of the 9th, it is not very believable that any conclusive analysis of any metal sample could have been conducted in the meantime.
• Mr. Buchark seems to have said that he wanted to talk only to the Air Force; however, he seemed to have talked to somebody, as a newspaper told his story.

We are left with a single witness story that does not seem to have been investigated.
