JANUARY 1978, GATESHEAD, TYNE AND WEAR, U-K., UNE FILLE OU UNE FEMME:

Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

In a book titled "Mind Monsters: Invaders from Inner Space?", Bristih ufologist Jenny Randles apparently tells that near Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, England, in January 1978, at 03:50 a.m., someone suddenly woke up to the sound of a high-pitched buzz that seemed to be coming from inside her head.

This reportedly happened several nights in a row until one night when she felt that her hand was held. She only saw an arm that was holding her hand, she was afraid to look.

A glowing bluish suit covered the arm of the hypothetical being. She was able somehow to see through her own hand as with an X-ray photo. Finally, the hypothetical figure left and the buzzing sound ended.

[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that near Gateshead Tyne and Wear England, on January 1978, at 0350A, the witness suddenly woke up to the sound of a high-pitched buzz that seemed to be coming from inside her head. This happened several nights in a row until one night when somebody took hold of her hand. All she saw was the arm of the person that was holding her, she was afraid to look. A glowing bluish suit covered the arm of the being. She was able somehow to see through her own hand as if were an X-ray photo. Finally the figure left and the buzzing sound ended.

Albert Rosales indicates that the source is "Jenny Randles, Mind Monsters."

Points to consider:

There is no UFO, and the experience occurred when the person was asleep. Although the information is insufficient, of unknown origin and with an unnamed witness whose age is not even indicated, this is obviously one of the numerous hypnagogic hallucination experiences changed into a "humanoid encounter" for no valid reason. Such hallucinations are often triggered by a sound.

I provide a few references among dozens about the topic of hypnagogic hallucination and sleep paralysis:
