A ufologist informed the editor of the Flying Saucer Review that in Huanuco, Peru, on September 1, 1965 at 5 o'clock in the morning, a foreigner who wanted to remain anonymous saw an oval shaped UFO landing, very close to him on the landing strip of a large property. An entity emerged from it, of some 85 centimeters in height and whose head was twice larger than there ours.
When seeing the man, the creature is said to have made gestures an signs as if it tried to communicate, and as it was not successful, returned in the UFO, which became luminous and disappeared right in the sky. Previously, the witness is said to have felt "a strange feeling which seemed to force him to go towards the place where the apparatus landed."
The case reportedly appeared in the newspaper El Comercio, of Lima, Peru, at some unknown day of September 1965. An unnamed correspondent in Peru seems at the origin of the case and is said to know the witness.

Gordon Creighton, the editor of the famous Flying Saucer Review, reports for the compilation by Charles Bowen, that in Huanuco, Peru, on September 1, 1965 at 5 o'clock in the morning, a "foreigner who did not want that his name is published" saw a UFO of oval form landing very close to him on the landing strip of a large property. An entity emerged from it, of some 85 centimeters in height and whose head was twice as large than ours. When seeing the man, the creature started to make gestures and to make signs as if it tried to communicate, and as it did not manage be comprehensible, it returned in the UFO, which became luminous and disappeared straight in the sky. Previously, the man had felt "a strange feeling which seemed to force him to go towards the place where UFO landed." Creighton indicates as sources: El Comercio, of Lima, Peru, for September 1965, whose date of exact publication is unknown to him, and a list of some recent UFO landings in Peru which Donald Hanlon had sent to the attention of the Flying Saucer Review in a letter of November 23, 1965. Creighton specifies that Donald Hanlon's correspondent in Peru, who sent the account of this case to him, knows the witness.

The authors briefly summarize that on September 1, 1965, near Huanaco, Peru, a tiny man of about thirty-four inches high with a head about twice the size of a human head was seen emerging from an oval-shaped object which landed on the private airstrip of a large estate. Obvious lack of data and apparently lack of investigation report about this case make it impossible to give much credence to it.
It seems that the lone anonymous witness mentioned it the earliest available source changed to 5 witnesses later with Jacques Vallée.
