Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

In an article on previously unpublished cases of CE3 published in 1980 in Lumières Dans La Nuit #195, ufologist Eric Zurcher noted that ufologist Aimé Michel had told him that in 1947 by day, in La Javie, a child had seen a little being with a big head, dressed in a black jumpsuit, who was walking down a street in the village. Later, a girl who was nearby reportedly noticed the appearance of paranormal powers at home.

Nothing else seems to be known.

[Ref. jf1:] HENRI JULIEN ET MICHEL FIGUET:

The authors ask what to think of what a kid from La Javie had seriously described in 1947; his view of a small being crossing a street of the village of La Javie in black overalls, with a big head that stunned him.

The authors do not give any source, and comment that the story might be related to folklore.

1947 no date

FRANCE, La Javie

A child saw a little being with a big head dressed in a black jumpsuit who was walking down a street in the village of La Javie, after which a young girl who was nearby would have noticed the appearance of paranormal powers at home (case communicated by Aimé Michel "Catalogue Inédit" by Eric Zurcher, published in "Lumières dans la Nuit" for May 1980 - cfr Ummocat Darnaude D 2234)

[Ref. jg1:] JULIEN GONZALEZ:

The author indicates that in La Javie, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, in 1947, at an unknown day and time, an anonymous child saw a little being with a big head, wearing a black jumpsuit, crossing a street of the village.

Afterwards, a girl who was nearby reportedly noticed the appearance of paranormal powers at home.

Julien Gonzalet remarks that the information is very succinct, that it is a simple communication from Aimé Michel to Eric Zurcher, and that furthermore, there is nothing to establish a connection between the two facts.

He indicates as source "Lumières dans la Nuit, n° 195, page 26; Henri Julien et Michel Figuet, OVNI en Provence, page 217."

More questions than answers here...

La Javie reached ufological fame with the Ummo hoax. So-called human-looking aliens from planet Ummo toldd in a letter to a Spanish crackpot occultist that in 1950, they landed there on Earth for the first time.
