November 1932, Frederick, Maryland, USA, a young woman and her boyfriend:

Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

Author Mark Opsasnick reportedly told in his 2004 book about the stories of strange creatures seen in Maryland that in November 1932, at night, a young woman and her boyfriend were driding in Frederick, in this state, near Mount Olivet Cemetery, when they saw a creature they described as "dark, bulky, and frightful." The beast ran off into the woods as the couple swerved.

This ended up later in a catalog of "humanoid encounters."

Points to consider:

Mark Opsasnick is a US writer and cultural historian who has authored seven books and many articles on "bigfoot", unexplained phenomena, popular culture and rock and roll music. The case certainly comes from his book "The Maryland Bigfoot Digest: A Survey of Creatures Sightings in the Free State", 2004.

Not only has this case of course has nothing to do with UFOs, but also, it is of very low strangeness and it is totally reasonable I thing, to wonder if this was a bear or a boar or some other perfectly usual animal.
