1932, Jitomir Province, Ukraine, people:

Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

Albert Rosales indicated circa 2005 in his catalogue that according to Yaroslav Sochka, in the Zhitomir (it also spells Jitomir) province, Russia (now Ukraine), in 1932, at sunset, local residents reported encountering strange entities that usually appeared after dawn. They resembled humans but with legs directly connected up to their waists, and the upper part of the bodies fiery like a flame and pulsating.

Rosales says that the locals "called these aliens 'lights'". He says it was noted that in the places where these humanoids were seen people soon died afterwards and many left the region never to return.

1932 Early morning.

(ZHYTOMYR : UKRAINE : then part of the USSR)

On a number of occasions strange beings resembling humans but with legs directly connected to their waists and fiery pulsating upper bodies were seen by local people. After seeing these “lights” people died or left the region never to return.

Evaluation - Another sort of fairy tale retelling the murders and deportations of the Stalin terror years.

Points to consider:

The case is documented in an unacceptably poor manner, and could be simply some local folklore generated by encounters, not with extraterrestrials, but with wisps, sources of many legends and supertitions. In any case, I do not see the connection with "UFOs", and I think calling these "beings" "aliens" without any further consuderations is quite far-fetched.

Yaroslav Sochka, born in February 1977, is a UFO, paranormal and occult biff. UFODOS is a ufology group he formed in 1998.
