1930, Martilandran, 1960, Cáceres, Spain, someone:

Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

Spanish author J. J. Benitez told in his 1990 book that in Martilandran, Spain, in 1930, at night, during a severe thunderstorm, someone was out looking for shelter in a mountainous valley, when he came upon a strange man, barefoot, shirtless and carrying a heavy wooden cross. Despite the rain, this man was completely dry. The witness offered him food and a coat but the man refused all help. Bbefore leaving he told the witness that the next grape crop would be the best in the region. Then he disappeared.

This then appeared in 3 ufology catalogues of close encounters of the third kind.

Points to consider:

How could anyone think that this had anything to do with UFOs or UFO occupants is beyond me. This is obviously a story about someone who thought he met "Jesus".

It the story is true, the "JEsus" here could have been a man with psychiatric problems posing as "Jesus", But of course, all this may have been totally invented, no sign of credibility of the story being apparent.
