Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

In the ufology magazine Flying Saucer Review, in the 1990's, Paul Whitehead reportedly told that in Fernhurst, West Sussex, England, on December 24, 1909, at night, Eve Gladys and Gwen Ruffle woke up, looked out the window and witnesses an incredible sight. In the sky were two golden doves, flying very close to each other, and, as their wings touched, the figure of an angel appeared, surrounded by an aura of radiance.

It was "quite breathtaking. Dumfounded they just sat in complete awe. The angel vanished and the doves gradually faded into the sky."
