The sightings for November 29, 1989:

04:30 p.m. - Leaving Mazy.

At approximately 04:30 p.m., Alain E., an electrician, returned by car to his home near Namur. He had just left Mazy and went towards the E41 motorway.

It should be noted that this sighting is geographically located largely outside the "core" of the observations of that day around Eupen. The place is between Charleroi and Namur.

On his left, he saw a perfectly motionless object, which he estimated to be at 200 meters of the road, and at an altitude ranging between 200 and 300 meters. He slowed down for better observing.

He described the object as a vaguely triangular or trapezoidal mass, of gray metallic color, perfectly stationary, horizontally, the front directed towards Mazy; which placed it on a south-eastern / north-western axis. At the front of the object there were two enormous headlights; which diameter he estimated as 1.50 meters. These headlights were of a sharp white light, but without beaming light.

At the back, there was a kind of "opened compartment", as if there were two panels open on a vacuum.

Seen from the side, the object had a bulge at the front whereas the back was narrower.

Being an electrician, what struck him the most was that there was a kind of bluish gleam under the object, "as that that one sees during electric discharges in vacuum tubes." It formed a corona right under the machine, which overflowed it slightly, and was quite visible in spite of the daylight.

Two drawings of the object were made. One represents the silhouette of the object seen from the side, details such as headlights are not indicated:

The second sketch was probably done to show the position of the two headlights and the two parts that gave on a compartment. It is unfortunately not specified whether the diagram is from the side or from underneath. One can only suppose that the witness saw the object under several angles and that the two drawings must be plans, the first by the side, the second from underneath. The front and the back are not indicated, but as the object was motionless, "front" and "back" would be meaningless indications anyway:
